Old Goa Medical College ( GMC Building ).
The Escola Medico Cirurgica De Nova Goa, which in 1963 became the Goa Medical College, is the oldest modern medicine institution in Asia. In 1842, the Portuguese used the then nearly 150-year-old Palace to house a medical institution that has produced world renowned physicians and surgeons. Given a fresh lease of life following extensive renovations in 2004, the G.M.C building has been functioning as the administrative base for the International Film Festival of India, as also the administrative offices of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) and the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF).
Kala Academy
- The cultural hub of Goa, the Kala Academy was established in 1969, and till date serves as the principal institution for the promotion of art and culture in the State of Goa. Designed by Charles Correia and situated on the banks of the River Mandovi along the Panaji-Dona Paula road, the complex includes an open air auditorium with a seating capacity of 2,500, a close air-conditioned theatre called the Dinanath Mangueshkar Auditorium with a capacity of 900 seats, two mini-theatres, a recording studio, a full-fledged library of music, books, an Art Gallery and workshop, visitor’s room.
Venue for the opening and closing ceremony for the 37th International Film Festival of India, Goa, 2006, the venue also has provisions for:

Multiplex
Built in record time of 100 days to host the 35th International Film Festival of India, Goa, 2004, the Multiplex Theatre is situated behind the Old GMC complex in a perfect blend of modern technology using Goan architectural sensibilities. On par with international standard movie equipment in a state-of-the-art setting, the Multiplex has played host to the 35th and 36th International Film Festivals, drawing compliments from the film fraternity worldwide.

Corniche
Set against the picturesque riverfront of Campal along the River Mandovi, is a one-kilometer stretch of tiled footpath built under the canopy of verdant green rain trees. The walk, ideally suited for morning joggers and evening walkers, also turns festive as venue for cultural events and music festivals. Wearing a new avatar at the 37th International Film Festival of India, the Corniche transforms itself into a walk-a-way of musical concerts, artiste platforms, entertainment, food stalls and IFFI-Goa Tourism information desks.
Children’s Park
More than thirty five years-old and venue for many children programmes and picnics, the Children’s Park -- now known as Bhagwan Mahaveer Children’s Park -- plays a crucial role during IFFI in bringing together many talented child artist and performer. Children’s painting, drawing and talent contests, food stalls, musical performances and amusement park with rides and laugh, make this venue a sure-fire favourite for young Goans.
National Institute of Water Sports (NIWS) Ground
With the Arabian Sea as the backdrop, the NIWS Grounds at Caranzalem is the seat for much action: Public Beach Screenings, Open Air Concerts with some of the best musicians in performance from the country and abroad, Food Courts and non-stop live entertainment during IFFI make for great wholesome family participation
