The IFFI Goa 2006 poster
The IFFI Goa 2006 poster has been designed by Shivani Sharma from South Delhi Women’s Polytechnic symbolizing a peacock against a backdrop of convulsions of rich colours. The poster was unveiled on the occasion of the IFFI 2006 press launch in Goa on November 2, 2006 in the presence of actors like Sohail Khan, Riya Sen and film director, Aditya Raj Kapoor.
Shivani Sharma was selected by way of a nationwide poster competition, winning from among 75 other entries. She was presented with a citation and a prize of Rs 21,000 by the Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pratap Singh Rane. The posture captures the essence of IFFI as a vibrant and colourful festival representing India on the International film circuit.
