After re-locating to Seattle, he helped launch the Northwest Film Forum, a non-profit centre for the film arts. He has directed several short films, including ‘Donut Holes’ (1994), ‘Milk’ (2001) and ‘Coffee’ (2003), as well as the feature-length documentary ‘BINGO! The documentary’ (2000). ‘Outsourced’ is his first feature film

Synopsis:  This American independent project, produced by Seattle-based ShadowCatcher Entertainment and Tom Gorai, is a romantic comedy focusing on 32-year-old Todd Anderson (Josh Hamilton of ‘The Bourne Identity’ and the TV series ‘Sex and the City’), manager of a customer call center in Seattle. He is summarily dispatched to India to train his own replacement. He expects the unknown country to present the worst experience of his life. It certainly begins that way. The chaos of Mumbai assaults his senses, and his new office there is paralyzed by cultural misunderstandings. But as he gets to know his co-workers, Todd finds them disarming and thoroughly likeable, including his friendly replacement Puro (Asif Basra) and the lovely, opinionated Asha (Ayesha Dharker of ‘The Terrorist’ and stage musical ‘Bollywood Dreams’). He realizes that he has a lot to learn about India, America and himself, and that being outsourced may be the best thing that ever happened to him. The film has been shot in 35mm.
