Synopsis:  `Tananam Tananam’ is a triangle love story. This story about love, laughter, pain and sacrifice is told in the background of classical music and professional theatre. The screenplay is inspired by a short story written by famous Tamil writer, Kalki. K. Kalyan the music director of `Tananam Tananam’ also has to his credit awards for `Chandramukhi,’ `Pranasakhi’ and best lyrics award for `Preeti,’ `Prema,’ `Pranaya.’ He has written over 2000 songs so far. International Maestro Dr. L. Subramaniam scores classical themes of violins for the first time for this South Indian film. He has earlier scored music for international greats as Bernardo Bertolucci’s `Little Buddha’ and Meera Nair’s ‘Salaam Bombay.’ Dr.L.Subramaniam has been honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan and in 1981 has been nominated for a Grammy award. Sri Tulaja Bhavani Creations have been known for producing quality cinema. The producer, N. M. Suresh has earlier produced the super hit film ‘Excuse Me’ which ran for 250 days. ‘Chappale’ and `7 O’clock’ Suresh is known for musical films and all the songs of his earlier films have been huge hits.
