GETTING THERE
Welcome to the “Getting There “section. Here you will find information to and from Goa to neighboring states with schedules of Road, Travel, Train travel and Air travel.

Introduction
Road travel to Goa generally entails either taking a bus to Goa or arranging private transportation in the form of a Car or Van. The two major highways that connect Goa to the rest of India are the NH-17 and NH-4. The bus journey from Mumbai takes about 18hrs to reach Goa. The Kadamba Transport Corporation or the K. T. C of the Government of Goa runs a large number of these services and so do the government bus services MSRTC and KSRTC of the neighboring states of Maharastra and Karnataka. The Bombay Goa route also has bus services run by private sector companies.

Konkan Railway is a 760kms project that connects Mumbai to Mangalore, almost all of the coastal areas along the west coast, which are now accessible by train. Its large appeal lies in cutting down of travel time from Mumbai to Goa to less than 10 hrs.
