The Award for the Most Promising Asian Director consisting of a Silver Peacock and a cash prize of Rs. 2,50,000/- goes to the Israeli Director Ra’anan Alexandrowicz for his film JAMES JOURNEY TO JERUSALEM (MASSA’OT JAMES BE’ERETZ HAKODESH) for his paradoxical vision of basic values lost in a consumerist society.
