Synopsis: The film tells the true story of Maria Palliggiano, a Neapolitan painter that committed suicide atwhen she was 36 years old, during the 60's. She spent her life defending her ideas of research and universal love. Married to an old famous painter, she tried to be both mother and artist. Because of prejudices she underwent psychiatric hospitalization with the intent to bring her back to a normal life.
