Synopsis: Nausherwan-e-Adil Sultan-e-Iran is a just ruler. His laws are equal for everyone when he dispenses justice. He introduces two news laws; anyone deceiving a girl will be walled up, and anyone betraying the state will be put to death. Nausherwan and his wife have two sons, Naushahzad and Hormuz. He declares the elder son Naushahzad, as heir to the throne. But when Naushahzad saves a young girl called Marcia from drowning, he tells her he is a Christian named Joseph. Soon, Marcia and Joseph (Naushahzad) fall in love. Complications arise when Marcia and her father demand justice from Nausherwan as they feel Naushahzad (Joseph), has deceived them leading to a tumultuous chain of events.

कथासार – नौशेरवां-ए-आदिल सुल्तान-ए-ईरान एक शासक है। उसके लिए कानून की नजर में सब एक हैं। वह दो नए कानून बनाता है, एक अगर कोई लड़की को धोखा देगा तो उसे कैद में रखा जाएगा, और कोई देश के साथ गद्दारी करेगा तो उसे मौत के घाट उतार दिया जाएगा। नौशेरवां और उसकी पत्नी के दो बच्चे हैं, नौशहज़ाद और होरमुज़। वह अपने बड़े बेटे को गद्दी का वारिस घोषित करता है, लेकिन जब नौशहज़ाद पानी में डूब रही युवती मरसिया की जान बचाता है, तो वह उसे कहता है कि वह क्रिश्चियन है और उसका नाम जोसेफ है । जल्दी ही मरसिया और जोसेफ (नौशहज़ाद) में प्यार हो जाता है। परेशानी तब खड़ी होती है जब मरसिया और उसके पिता नौशेरवां से न्याय की मांग करते हैं क्योंकि उन्हें लगता है कि नौशहज़ाद (जोसेफ) ने उन्हें धोखा दिया है, इससे कहानी में कई उतार चढ़ाव और उथल पुथल देखने को मिलती है ।
