Synopsis : Anna rules the Mumbai underworld. Among his gang of loyal commandants is Kishen, who has shielded his younger brother Karan by sending him to college abroad. Upon returning, an unknowing Karan separated from his brother and his love, Paro, witnesses Paro’s brother’s death by Anna's gang and decides to avenge it, which throws him into a vortex of violence.
Director’s Bio : Shiv Kumar Subramaniam (1959 – 2022) was an Indian actor and screenwriter. Known for his role as the industrialist I.M. Virani in the Indian television series Mukti Bandhan (2011), he wrote the screenplay for films like Parinda (1989) and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005). As an actor, he appeared in supporting roles in many films like 1942: A Love Story (1994), Kaminey (2009), Teen Patti (2010), 2 States (2014) and Meenakshi Sundareshwar (2021). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay for Parinda (1989), and the Filmfare Award for Best Story for Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005) shared with Sudhir Mishra and Ruchi Narain.
