Synopsis : During his research on historical artefacts, Rajan meets Devaki, who is married to a drunkard. Sharing an interest in history and poetry, they become close.
Director’s Bio : Pratap Pothen (1952 – 2022) was an Indian actor and filmmaker across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema. He acted in about 100 films and directed 12 while also having worked as a scriptwriter and producer. His directorial debut Meendum Oru Kaathal Kathai (1985), won him the National Film Award for Best Debut Film of a Director. He directed several successful Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, working with veteran actors like Sivaji Ganesan, Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan, Thilakan and Nagarjuna. The turn of the century saw him playing many gratifying roles in films like Priyasakhi (2005), Aayirathil Oruvan (2010) and Ponmagal Vandhal (2020).
