Synopsis: The Indian Hockey team defeats England to win the Gold at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. Six decades later, when Nandy Singh, a member of this iconic team suffers a stroke at the age of 84, it inspires his daughter to rediscover the champion he was. Keeping the rhythm of ordinary, everyday lives and family relationships at its core, the film interweaves archival footage with interviews of teammates to reveal lives shaped by the win, and by partition.

Director & Producer: Bani Singh studied at NID, Ahmedabad and specialized in Museum Studies. She worked at the Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum in Anandpur Sahib as a Gallery Visualiser and Content Interpreter. Taangh is her first film.
