Synopsis : Mohal Basu, an enthusiastic college student, wants to pursue her PhD research on the writer and socio-political activist Mahananda Bhattacharya. For that, she goes to Mahananda herself despite warnings from everyone and a series of events occur in their lives which changes Mohal’s thinking completely. The film is based on the life and works of the eminent writer and socio-political activist Mahasweta Devi.

Director’s Bio : Arindam Sil is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor in the Bengali film industry having directed critically acclaimed films like Ebar Shabor (2015), Har Har Byomkesh (2015) and Eagoler Chokh (2016).

Producer : : Friends Communication is an award-winning production house owned by Kolkata-based film producer Firdausul Hasan. Its film Mayurakshi won the National Film Award for the Best Feature Film in Bengali (2018).
