Synopsis: Jacqueline (Cynthia Erivo), a young refugee, lands alone and penniless on a Greek island where she tries to survive, then to cope with her past. While gathering her strength, she begins a friendship with a rootless tour guide (Alia Shawkat) and together they find the resilience to forge ahead.


Directors Bio: Anthony Chen is a Singaporean film director, Screenplay and film producer. His debut feature film, Ilo Ilo, won the ‘Camera d'Or’ at the 2013 ‘Cannes Film Festival’, making him the first and only Singaporean to have been awarded at Cannes. In 2007 and 2008, Chen went on to direct Ah Ma and Haze respectively. Ah Ma was awarded a ‘Special Mention’ in the short film competition at the prestigious ‘Cannes Film Festival’, making it the first Singaporean film to win an award at the festival.
