IFFI is the only film festival in South Asia that is accredited by International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations (FIAPF) of the 44th international festivals in the Competitive Feature Films Category. Since its inception in 1952, IFFI has been curating spectacular films from all over the world. Its goal is to provide a single platform for ambitious filmmakers, cineastes, and industry professionals to have access to excellent cinema from across the world.IFFI’s International Cinema section is an assortment of culturally and aesthetically remarkable films from around the world. 54th IFFI Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award

The prestigious Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema goes to Michael Kirk Douglas at 54TH IFFI Festival. Esteemed Hollywood actor and producer Michael Douglas was honoured with the one of the most prestigious award known as Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa today. Douglas, joined by his wife, the acclaimed BAFTA Award-winning actress and philanthropist Catherine Zeta-Jones, along with their son, actor Dylan Douglas, accepted the award during the dazzling closing ceremony of IFFI 54, GOA, receiving a heartfelt standing ovation from the audience.
