Bringing an enchanting cinematic journey to its grand finale, the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) concludes on November 28, 2024, with a spectacular Closing Ceremony at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa. This dazzling conclusion wraps up nine extraordinary days of celebrating storytelling and the vibrant spirit of global cinema.

Special Screening of Subhash Ghai’s “TAAL” at 55th IFFI

The 25th anniversary of the iconic film Taal was celebrated in grand style at IFFI 2024. The event featured a special screening of the movie, followed by a press conference with the film's team, including director Subhash Ghai, singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, and actor Jividha Sharma. In his opening remarks, Subhash Ghai noted the film's enduring appeal, stating, "It is rare to find someone who hasn't seen this movie, given its immense popularity even today."

Central Bureau of Communication Brings Art and Culture to Life at 55th IFFI

The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is hosting Safarnama, a multimedia exhibition, and celebrating India’s rich cultural diversity through performances by its Song & Drama Division. Held at Kala Academy, Panaji, Goa, these events are part of the IFFiesta program alongside IFFI 2024.
