After revisiting her hometown, a young lady navigates to the desert her parents originated from to seek a reason for being. In her travels, she is welcomed on a camel train and discovered hidden stories about her predecessors.
Song Juan is a non-binary filmmaker based in Los Angeles. In college, Song was awarded the Gold Remi from the 53rd Worldfest Houston for their short film “For the Goblins” (2019), and their screenplay “Secret Path” has been nominated to several film festivals. Song freelanced as a film crew after earning their filmmaking BFA from the New York Film Academy in 2020. Song loved collaborating with talented professionals but soon discovered the neglect of good quality audio in the film industry. Intrigued by the magic of manipulating sound, Song decided to continue their education at the Savannah College of Art and Design for a Master of Fine Arts degree in sound design. As a creation personnel, Song appreciates art created by human artists, and loves composing stories with fantasy elements.
