Rahat Shukurova, a resident of Tashkent, learns about the death of someone from her past and returns to the remote mountain village of Archaly, where she once worked as a teacher. Decades ago, during the Soviet era, her life was shattered by a scandal that led to disgrace and exile. Now, back in Archaly, she is forced to confront painful memories and long-buried secrets. As the past resurfaces, Rahat must navigate her way through old wounds and hidden truths, seeking reconciliation with herself.
Ayub Shahobiddinov was born on May 26, 1977, in Tashkent. He is a film director and an Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He graduated from the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture and the High Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors. He is a prizewinner of numerous international film festivals.
