Phil Giordano is an Italian-American filmmaker based in Manila, Philippines. He is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he won the prestigious Wasserman Award. Giordano is known for his emotionally intense, character-driven work that explores raw, immersive worlds. His short film SUPOT premiered in competition at the 2016 Busan International Film Festival, screened at several Oscar-qualifying festivals, and won the Hollywood Foreign Press Award. Having lived in Manila and Singapore for nearly 15 years, Giordano brings a unique perspective to underrepresented narratives, blending American filmmaking expertise with the vibrant storytelling traditions of the Philippines.
