A slice-of-life tale set in an Indian village follows an underprivileged elderly couple struggling to make ends meet, burdened by their 26-year-old mentally unstable son. As the father grapples with old age and daily survival, the son increasingly feels like a burden. The mother, convinced that a dip in the sacred Ganges at the MahaKumbh — the world’s largest religious gathering occurring after 144 years — will heal him, persuades the father to undertake the journey. The family sets out on a picturesque and arduous pilgrimage, where amidst faith, devotion, and human struggle, the son experiences a profound spiritual awakening, transforming the lives of all three.
