Ricardo (78) struggles to balance his work as a janitor at a primary school and the care his wife requires. Despite applying for retirement, he realizes the pension is not enough to survive, so he must continue working. In addition, he is responsible for finding the culprit of pornographic graffiti that is appearing around the school.
Mauro Mueller is a Mexican-Swiss-Italian filmmaker based in Zurich, Mexico City, and Los Angeles. He's a 2022 SPT Directors Fellow and co-directed the Swiss mystery crime thriller WILDER. Mauro was 2nd Unit Director on AWAKE, and his first feature film EL CONSERJE is in post-production. David Figueroa García is a film director and writer. He has a master's degree in film from Columbia University and graduated from the City University of New York in Classic Literature. David directed RATITAS and PERFIDIA, which won multiple awards. The Janitor is his debut feature.
