Edo is a 34-year-old aspiring actor who lives in a small provincial town in northern Italy. He mainly works as a delivery rider, and the few auditions he manages to land leave him completely unsatisfied. One day, he hears about the “Trotta case”—the story of a man who claims to have been abducted by aliens in the 1970s and appears to have experienced the same nightmares that have recently been haunting Edo. Encouraged by his friend Eli, Edo sets out to find the man, interview him, and uncover the meaning behind the strange dreams that torment him.
