Luana works at a daycare and lives with her mother, longing to escape her sheltered life. When her cousin Domi invites her to his black-metal band WLVS’s rehearsal, she’s drawn to the music—and to the enigmatic new Polish singer, Wiktor. She and Wiktor begin an affair, and back home, she moves in with him. When Luana loses her job, she spirals, trying to hold the band—and her relationship—together.
Jonas Ulrich, born in 1990, lives and works in Zurich. He has been working as a writer, director and editor since 2012 and has been involved in numerous short films, commercials and music videos. Mostly in close collaboration with his team at the production company Dynamic Frame, which he founded together with Luzius Fischer in 2013. His short film «PEOPLE ON SATURDAY» (2020) won the Pardino d’oro at the 73rd Locarno Film Festival and was shown at numerous other festivals. Jonas Ulrich previously studied history and film studies at the University of Zurich and worked as a film critic.
