The 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was a resounding success, bringing together filmmakers and movie aficionados from throughout the globe from 20th to 28th November 2022 in Panjim, Goa. As the largest and most prestigious film festival in India, IFFI remains committed to promoting the best of world cinema and fostering cultural exchange among diverse audiences. The festival's platform aims to encourage meaningful dialogue, foster long-lasting friendships, and celebrate the rich tapestry of world storytelling. This year marks the 54th edition of the festival, which will take place from November 20th to November 28th, 2023 at the same venue.

"Red Carpet & Gala Premieres" segment of the festival was launched during the 53rd edition of IFFI with the aim of adding more glitz and glamour to the festival and giving the public an opportunity to see their favourite stars up close. This segment was a huge success and drew in large audiences, with mainstream film stars from across the globe gracing the red carpet and attending the gala premieres of their premiere films. The segment was designed to celebrate the international festival while staying true to its spirit of showcasing the best of world cinema and providing a platform for filmmakers and audiences to interact and build global cooperation and friendships. The festival played host to some of the biggest names in Indian cinema, such as Paresh Rawal, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Yami Gautam, Ashika Ranganath, Varun Dhawan, Suniel Shetty, Randeep Hooda, Illeana D'Cruz, SJ Suryah, Sai Tamhankar, Kalki Koechlin, Deepti Naval, Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak Shah, Rajit Kapur, Karan Kundra, Adil Husain, Tannistha Chatterjee, Adivi Sesh, and Raj Kumarr Rao. Their participation in the festival not only added to the sparkle and glamour of the event but also served as a testament to the festival's growing importance as a platform for filmmakers and actors to showcase their work on an international stage.
